Syneron Dental Lasers Signs New European Distributor Agreements
Partnerships will bring the LiteTouch™ and Laser-in-Handpiece™ technologies to Poland, Holland, the and Czech Republic and Serbia Dental Markets
July 27, 2011 – Yokneam, Israel –Syneron Dental Lasers, the world's leading provider of innovative dental laser technologies and the inventor of the LiteTouch™ and Laser-in-Handpiece™ technology announced today the signing of four distribution agreements in Europe. The company has solidified partnerships with Shar-Pol in Poland, International Equipment Center (IEC) in Holland, and B.P.C. Ltd. in the Czech Republic and Serbia. The new distributor agreements follow Syneron Dental‘s existing strong partnerships with other European distributors such as Dentacon, its Balkan region distributor, Munich-based NMT Gmbh and Swiss distributor Orcos Medical, among other international distributors.
Under these agreements, the distributors will sell Syneron Dental’s LiteTouch™ and D-Touch™ as well as promote, educate and train the customers. Syneron Dental Lasers plans to expand into additional countries within Europe and Asia during the second half of 2011.
These new distribution partners are all companies with excellent sales track records for high level dental equipment. Shar-Pol, based in Southern Poland is an authorized distributor of high power medical lasers in Poland and has been selling innovative laser technologies and providing technical and clinical support as well as professional after-sales services and training of customers’ medical staff since 1994. In Holland, IEC provides dental equipment and complete remodeling for dental practices and maintains a high quality of service for its customers. B.P.C. Ltd. provides the latest in dental laser technologies in the Czech Republic and Serbian markets and holds a top track record of distributorship for high end products in the respective markets alongside a vast experience in the field of marketing and sales.
LiteTouch™ is the world's smallest versatile Erbium YAG dental laser for both hard and soft tissue dental treatments. The unique “Laser-in-Handpiece™” technology houses the entire laser mechanism within a small sized chamber (12cm long by 2.3cm diameter). The LiteTouch™ is fiber-free (there is no fiber in the delivery mechanism), thus enabling unlimited movement of the swivel, which operates just like a turbine drill. The laser energy is delivered very quickly, providing supreme fast-cutting power for hard tissue bone. With the LiteTouch™, dentists achieve better clinical results and patients benefit from an overall improved experience and faster healing time. LiteTouch™ is the only dental laser that enables dentists to enjoy a complete expression of their dental expertise and mastery.
"We are very excited about the opportunities these partnerships present to Syneron Dental Lasers," said Ira Prigat, Syneron Dental’s President. "Our business operations are rapidly expanding while our close-knit synergy with the existing distributors is further empowering the Syneron Dental family worldwide, thus contributing to the company’s ongoing success. As an emerging, fast-growing market leader, Syneron Dental Lasers is strategically aspired to continue establishing its global footprint and alongside with its steadily increasing market share, is already changing the shape of the laser dentistry market. Syneron Dental Lasers is committed to promoting technology innovations, cross-continent clinical research collaborations, laser dentistry education and first-class long-term support and services to LiteTouch™ customers worldwide."
The new distributor agreements follow a number of the company’s recent activities, including participation at the IDS show in Cologne, Germany. The show was a phenomenal success for the company, followed by a remarkable event in Rome - as the Gold Sponsor at the World Federation of Laser Dentistry - European Congress (WFLD-ED), which took place in early June 2011. At this event Syneron Dental Lasers demonstrated the latest features of the LiteTouch™ and received rave compliments from the audience when Dr. Carl Bader, a research clinician from the University of Geneva presented the university’s Erbium: YAG Evidence-Based Comparative Research findings - with the LiteTouch™ receiving top scores.
The WFLD conference presented a unique opportunity where Syneron Dental Lasers initiated a first-of-its-kind Laser Dentistry Education & Technology Think Tank Round Table summoning members of the academia and media to discuss the growing challenges of promoting laser awareness. Syneron Dental Lasers was honored to accept the academia’s proposition to lead this discussion and The Think Tank forum concluded that it would reconvene on a regular basis with additional representatives of the industry, academia and media to further collaborate on mapping out the multi-lateral building blocks that will address the challenges of “Drawing the future of Laser Dentistry”.
