About Syneron Dental
In 2005, a group of physicists, engineers and laser technology specialists from different dental laser companies came together to found Light Instruments Ltd, a dental laser manufacturer which aspired to develop dental new products and innovative concepts. These experts, long-time veterans of the dental laser industry, were well aware of the drawbacks of existing dental lasers. They joined forces, and their multi-disciplinary research yielded the first all-tissue, non-fiber, non-articulated arm Er: YAG dental laser equipment. Their innovation, the "LiteTouch"™, is the first Laser-in-Handpiece™ device.
After the positive reception of LiteTouch™ in the global marketplace, Syneron Medical Ltd, under the direction of founder and Chairman Dr. Shimon Eckhouse, fully acquired Light Instruments and turned it into the dental division of Syneron Medical Ltd.
