About Syneron Dental
In 2005, a group of physicists, engineers and laser technology specialists came together to found Light Instruments Ltd, which aspired to develop a new concept in laser dentistry. These experts, all long-time veterans of the dental laser industry, were well aware of the drawbacks of existing dental lasers. They joined forces, and their multi-disciplinary research yielded the first all-tissue, non-fiber, non-articulated arm Er: YAG dental laser. Their innovation, the "LiteTouch"™, is the first Laser-in-Handpiece™ device.

After its positive reception in the global marketplace, LiteTouch received FDA approval in 2007. Shortly afterward, Syneron Medical Ltd, under the direction of founder and Chairman Dr. Shimon Eckhouse, fully acquired Light Instruments and turned it into the dental division of Syneron Medical Ltd.
LiteTouch™'s novel Laser-in-the-Handpiece™ concept is inspiring great interest among dentists worldwide. For these dental professionals, LiteTouch™ represents a unique combination of characteristics: superior power and high-speed cutting abilities, along with exceptional maneuverability and precision in the oral cavity.
At its headquarters in Yokneam, Northern Israel, Syneron Dental manufactures, sells and conducts intensive R&D activities connected to its flag-ship product, LiteTouch™. Throughout Asia, Eastern and Western Europe and the USA, this device has gained recognition as the next-generation dental laser.
